Each of the County links above includes lists of the cities, villages, and townships within the county as well as links to those governmental units that have their own websites.

Michigan Townships Association

The Michigan Townships Association is the exclusive legislative and public advocate for Michigan's 1,242 townships and is the foremost source of quality education and information for Michigan's elected and appointed township officials.

Michigan Association of Counties

For more than a century, the Michigan Association of Counties (MAC) has provided a unified, nonpartisan voice for Michigan's 83 counties. Today, MAC remains the cornerstone of communication and cooperation between Michigan's 699 elected county commissioners and local personnel, and state and federal legislatures, decision-makers, media and the general public.

Michigan Association of School Boards

"The mission of the Michigan Association of School Boards is to provide quality educational leadership services for all Michigan boards of education, and to advocate for student achievement and public education."

Michigan Municipal League

The Michigan Municipal League is the Michigan association of cities and villages. The League is a nonpartisan organization working through cooperative effort to strengthen the quality of municipal government and administration by providing technical assistance and information to local officials regarding municipal issues; improving the training and education of these officials; preserving the home rule philosophy of municipal government, and creating a greater public understanding of municipal responsibilities, governance, and administration.
